Corruption is within....We have it in blood

I was never a supporter of Gandhi and his philosophies..I never admired Gandhian principles of Satyagraha…I was never his follower…In fact - I always criticized GANDHI. Buttt…This movement led by Anna Hazare restyled my mind, not completely but to a certain extent.
I’m not with Annaji, but render my full support to this cause..Salute to this Gandhian for alluring this noble cause..

Corruption—It’s a parasite in our Legal Machinery ; It’s a layer of rust on the high-end walls of government structure ; It’s a series of termites in the whole system ; It’s like a vestigial organ that needs to be eliminated ASAP….
Everybody is either a victim or a patron of this atrocious practice. We wish not to indulge in the practice of offering “HARI PATTI” below the table, which by the time has taken the shape of a non written protocol in almost every govt dept. The rate of progress of your work is directly proportional to the number of Gandhijis in your pocket. Recently, one of my friend fed 4100 rupees to get a work done in 2 days for which actual processing time is 15 days and fees is mere 100 rupees. – This is India--- Yaha par sab possible hai…Yaha sirf paisa bolta hai.
The art of bribery was introduces by Britishers and We Indians, are very good at copying and mastering anything coming from the west.
Kisan Baburao Hazare (aka Anna Hazare) enlightened the torch which shed a little light over the masses. His small bell was so strong that the ring was clearly audible in the acoustically designed halls of Parliament. He managed to spur one of the most unapproachable governments in the world into positive action. I was astonished by the outcome. The "Y" word-->>Youth-- was his prime supporting pillar..
Hope is the miracle worker in life...Anna Hazare has proved it

But I don't believe in these kind of anshans ;--> I just regained faith in Non Violent Movements. Clearly speaking, ANSHAN’s and DHARNA’s are not the way to follow in this point of time...just imagine what will happen if everybody sits on anshan for their not so worthy demands....be it a salary hike, demand for a new state, etc etc...there should be other ways to say ur point... This is 21st century and some things need to be changed to be upfront.
If Anna Hazare would ever form a political party and step into shoes of a contesting candidate---I can surely bet on him. He will emerge out to be a game changer.
Annaji is a celebrity now and 1 thing I noticed during his high voltage fast of 12 odd days---He spoke only and only about Lokpal. I would have respected him more if he urged the followers not to offer Bribes. Mr. Kejriwal was kind enough to make those people pledge for it, But Annaji’s words would have brought more seriousness. Recently, a DIG of Police in Agra made all his subordinates take an oath that they would shun bribes and corrupt practices. Does that mean India is changing.. Certainly Not. To change the system, we have to change ourselves first, Ask ourselves are we corrupt---We need to purify our bloood. Be strong enough to go trough proper channel.. If we attain this--and sustain this--then only we should ask for bodies like LOKPAL.. and they will be effective for sure...

42 years on....Still waiting...is it the Real Lokpal..??

Way back in 1969 Shanti Bhushan introdces the first version of Much hyped "Jan Lokpal Bill" in the Indian Parliament. From then on, Loksabha had been introduced with this unborn Law 9 times but didn't made it large to give birth to a new law.
In early April, Anna Hazare, a Gandhian right Activist started his fast unto death demanding the passing of bill. India had been witness of these "Amaran Anshans" since Pre-Independence era. Buttt... This is 2011...Technology moves faster than winds...and this time technology carried these winds on its back. I was a totally an incognizant person before I read Anupam Kher's tweet supporting Anna Hazare, quickly my fingers were adjuring the keyboard and eyes were finding their way to the copious information. FB, Twitter, google, rediff, HT, ET-- It was all over the web... So what, evrey news does do..But here the differentiator was Y-word.. this is full of enthusiasm, determination, admiration, energy--- It is The Youth--"We the people".
Everywhere in the nation, Candlelight parades were being organized. Thosands of Brand conscious gulz and guyz were wearing "Anna Hazare" and "Bharat Mata" on their body. Overnight Annaji became a celebrity.
Government had to capitulate and Team Anna---"Men in WHITE" won.
Today, it was tenth time, when Lokpal Bill was being presented in front of those elected representatives, Team Anna was burning the copied of Bill...Do you think it was ethical..???
I think this act of Anna withdrew the faith from some of the supporters...These days, Annaji is going political. In my view he has drifted from the real thing. As we say --"Jab Paisa bolta hai to neeyaten badalti hain". Here he got stardom as Paisa... which took him to the other side.
I am not against Anna or Lokpal Bill, but i do say that we, as the member of Civil Society we contributed to the drafting of bill. Now its the duty of the Parliament to make it a law. Butt..will it happen...last 42 yrs me to to hua nahi.
Its not the thing that Annaji did wrong, he did a great job. But the blame goes to those who were procrastinating this issue from last 42 years...was it justified...NO..then what...Those elected representatives should have the guts to say YES to it. And if we don't send the dependable, rock-steady candidates to that lucrative House, gobs of Anna Hazare will sit at Jantar Mantar, and bills like this will be pending for 442 years or so....

Something went wrong...But what.???

Today i met a person wo failed to sustain his company which he established, banking upon his knowledge base and intellectual thinking.. This man, as an industry fresher started off his career with an IT company. He acquired a lot of technical and industry knowledge and one day..he push open his wings to start-up his own company...having a view in mind that someday he will compete with hsi first employer.
Soon, he became they...his company grew to a size of 327 and the Start-up was going well and was even recognized as one of the fastest growing ones by Outlook in 2007. Clients were comming in and they also started getting overseas orders. Soon, their office moved from a 1BHK flat to one of the most expensive commercial address in Gurgaon. Nation felt their presence in many cities and they were growing at a unexpected faster pace.
The sucess mantra was- Target the needy and keep the cost price low.
Everything was going their way but suddenly the global financal crices started to pick up pace. During this period also they were doing good untill a cold wawe of Gobal IT majors like TCS, Infosys, etc, started creating holes in pockets of small players like these.. WHY??? The have sensed that to survive in this phase, we have to expan our reach and they did the same.
This person was very annoyed about all this and started thinking what actions to take...Soon all of his clients were swollen by these BIG fishes. The company's headcount started decreasing exponentially. And ultimately, his child(the company) was dead. He sold its body to pay up the debts and...now what to do...Earth is round..back to pavallion. Now he was back to that Big IT conglomerate as an employee with with he started hi career.
Well, I was totally inbefuddling state taking on what would have went wrong with this man. Afterall he is a togh guy..he's a hardworking man, he could have saved his business.
The anatomy is here:-
-> His business was limited, it was not diversified. They only catred to Financial Services.Have they updated their client wishlist according to the market trends, they would have been on a different podium.
-> They lack quick action. - They must have reached an other organization for a probable merger or so.. At least they could have retained their brand name.
Had they put their feet in different waters, their's have been a different story. Change is the mother of all happenings and just one change put them a deadly whirlpool. Had they changed themselves to the trend, that happening would be in their favour. As someone said:- "Experience is like a Comb, which nature gives you when you are bald".

Day in the life of a tea vendor - A Humble learning

Babu.. A Chai wala or say - Tapri wala who stands by his "Thela" in front of the main gate of an IT Conglomerate who starts his business day alongside the hoards of IT professionals hurriyng up to reach their workplace on time, dressed in their best , with fresh mood, --- always aims for 1 thing...A rabble of these technocrats who get to sip 'garam chai' with some hot snacks( the menu varies though). And closes off his SHOP when this army of technical resources leaves for the day - of course giving them the last sip of the day.
Ever wondered what's the similarity between this unlettered guy and the heards of these cultured men..
well both are starting the day at same time
->Working on a project(Different roles althouth)
->Working for money - In some case this vendor earns more than some of the educated people working on the other side of Guard room.
->Loves his family to the same level
->blah...... blah.......... blah.........
Although this man has never entered the campus ever, he knows what goes on inside.. He even make friends among his customers. He has a competition with the Cafeteria contractor inside the huge campus. He is in fact running more profitable business than that contractor who has to discharge a huge sum of money to Company management as tender fee. Buttttt.... Babu don't need to pay a penny to them yet he has a flourishing business with least of the facilities---just some stools ans tables.
Then why the company management does not shoo away him as they are not getting any monetary benefit from Babu??
Well...they can't because his area of work comes out of bounds of their constitution...they cant because they want him to stay..that's why they don't even bother to complain to local authorities.. His tapri is the meeting point for numerous credit card applicants and document collectors...His tapri is the meeting point for friends working in different establishments in the same vicinity... His tapri is the thikana for local labourers... His Tapri is the center-point of that locality...It has become a local LANDMARK now..
What's special with tapri... well. with a very low investment and ZERO publicity he has become a successful businessman. He seldom gets in loss.. Even in the recession hit economy his business works..infact he does better in those days..
But the thing he lacks is smart thinking.. He don't ever thinks to expand his business above a certain threshold.. If he would have thought that---he would have become an entrepreneur. That's the difference. This is where he is lacking. He can arrange the capital and manpower but he don't.
"Kaam kabhi chhota nahi hota..uska banaya jata hai --- usko samjha jata hai".
If he ever ever respects his work and give it a value... he can do wonders with his chai stall..
Ideas comes from experience, practice and little bit of out-of-box thinking. I am sure every one of us develop ideas in our minds.. but do we implement those..????..think why we don't...there can be many reasons....keep thinking...
